Ooooooohoooohoooooo Ed Sheeran is a hero isn't he. I really bloody love him.
So on Thursday the 23rd of October at 3pm I jumped on a train to London to go and get our tickets from the W hotel before walking the red carpet, which had been renamed the Ed Carpet. Clever. At 5pm Connie, who looked like a pretty little angel, met me outside Leicester Square station. From there we wondered to the W, collected our tickets and killed a couple of hours in one of my favourite places to eat - Bella Italia.
Before the film started Ed did a little acoustic set and answered a bunch of questions from people in the audience. This was the first time I'd ever heard him live and it was actually my favourite part of the whole night. His voice gave Connie and I goosebumps and it was the perfect start to the evening.
After he played a few songs, Jumper for Goalposts started and for the next hour and a bit everyone in the cinema was taken back by the raw, incredible talent of Ed Sheeran. Theres not much more to say than he is so talented, so sincere and so normal(!?). I loved the film, I thought it was inspiring and it made me want to sing all day every day (and sell out Wembley...we can all dream right!)
If you get a chance then definitely watch the movie! Thanks Connie for coming with me.
Lots of Love
